  • Learn more about our COVID-19 protection plan

    Keeping you safe while you are enjoying the conference is one of our highest priorities. Following the Swiss and cantonal guidelines, we have developed a COVID-19 protection plan aiming to reduce the risk of infection at [BC]2 as much as possible.

    To participate in [BC]2 on-site, participants need to be either vaccinated, recovered from a recent COVID-19 infection or tested negative for COVID-19. You will have to proved an official COVID certificate to prove either of it before entering the conference center. Testing possibilities for non-vaccinated people will be made available free of charge...

    Barbara Treutlein and Nikolaus Rajewsky have confirmed their participation.

    It is our pleasure to welcome Barbara Treutlein (ETH Zürich & D-BSSE, CH) and Nikolaus Rajewsky (MDC Berlin, DE) at [BC]2!

    After many months of virtual meetings, we are happy to announce that [BC]2 will take place on-site in Basel - with virtual participation options.

    With all necessary hygiene measures in place, and provided that the current restrictions will be gradually lifted by the Swiss Confederation by September, this lively event will combine inspiring science with great social activities to once again meet and connect with each other in a friendly atmosphere!
